Delivered a TEDx talk at TEDx Brixton addressing entrepreneurship, leadership, and the intersection of technology with community empowerment.
TEDx Brixton is an independently organised TEDx event held in South London, bringing together speakers, performers, and community members to share ideas worth spreading. The event celebrates the diversity, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit of the Brixton community while connecting local perspectives to global conversations.
Tonisha delivered a TEDx talk addressing the intersection of entrepreneurship, leadership, and technology with community empowerment. Drawing on her experience building businesses across multiple continents and leading educational innovation as a Dean of Learning & Teaching, she explored how technology can serve communities rather than extract from them — a theme that would later become central to her book SOVEREIGN and the TEE Method™ framework.
Her talk challenged the audience to think critically about who benefits from technological advancement and how communities can take ownership of their digital futures rather than being passive consumers of externally designed systems.
